OverdriveWith OverDrive, you can borrow and enjoy free eBooks, audiobooks, and more from our library's digital collection. All you need to get started is an internet connection, a library card, and these three steps:
1. Browse
Use the library finder on overdrive.com or in OverDrive's mobile app to find our library's digital collection and browse for titles.
2. Borrow
Use your library card to borrow a title. Titles you've borrowed will appear on your bookshelf under your account.
3. Enjoy
On your bookshelf, you'll find options for enjoying each borrowed title, like Read (read an eBook in your browser using OverDrive Read), Play (stream a video in your browser), and Download (available for eBooks, audio-books, music, and some videos).

Zinio Online Magazines
Zinio Online MagazinesTo access Zinio magazines you must first enter the website through our secure link and create an account. You can access the Zinio secure link by clicking the link below. (You can only access this site by clicking this link through the library's website.) Once at the secure site, please make sure that the upper left corner of the webpage says 'Homewood Public Library.' Next, click the text 'create new account' in the upper right hand corner and fill in the information. (Passwords must contain 7 digits using a combination of letters and numbers.) Your email address will be your login ID. Also, it is important to remember your password because you will need this to download magazines. That's it, you're now ready to get started. Click on your magazine, login using your email and password, then enjoy your magazine. You can view the magazines available from your web browser, or you can use the Zinio for Libraries app from the Play or App store to read on your tablet or phone.

You must use the link above and have a Homewood Library card and a valid email address to sign up for courses.
A verification link will be sent to your email address. Click the link in your email to confirm your account. You are welcome to enroll in up to 5 courses, and you have up to 6 months to finish each course. You have access to your courses 24/7 via the Internet. Attend class and do assignments on your schedule. Each course has a real instructor who you may communicate with using email. These are non-credit courses and are provided for your personal enrichment. These courses are not intended to be a substitute for any state, government, licensing, or educational requirements.
