TuesdayClasses are free but seating is limited.

Classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Spanish Computer Classes on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. Introductory to intermediate levels of training are offered. Class materials include updated and detailed handouts that will be emailed before each class. Please be sure to include a valid email address with your registration.

Classes Available and Course Description

  • Introduction to Computers

    Learn the basics of using a computer, including understanding hardware, using a mouse and keyboard, navigating the desktop, and opening and managing programs and files.

  • Introduction to the Internet

    Learn how to safely browse the web, use search engines, visit websites, understand links, and explore basic online services and resources.

  • Using Email

    Learn how to send and receive messages, attach files, organize your inbox, and manage contacts.

    Classes are available for both Gmail and Outlook.

  • Microsoft Excel – Web Version (Part I & II)

    Learn how to create spreadsheets, apply formulas and functions, organize data, and build simple charts using Excel online.

  • Microsoft PowerPoint – Web Version (Part I & II)

    Create professional presentations, work with templates, add images and transitions, and present your presentation.

  • Microsoft Word – Web Version (Part I & II)

    Learn how to create, format, edit, and share documents using Word online.

  • Google Docs

    Create, format, and collaborate on documents using Google Docs.

  • Google Sheets

    Learn how to build spreadsheets, use formulas, and organize data with Google Sheets.

  • Google Slides

    Create presentations, add images and animations, and collaborate with others using Google Slides.

  • Google Forms

    Learn how to create custom forms for surveys, questionnaires, and data collection.

  • Canva

    Learn how to create flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and more using easy-to-use design tools.

  • Google Chromebooks

    Understand how to use Chromebooks, manage files, use apps, and work effectively in a cloud-based environment.

  • Google Drive

    Learn how to store, organize, share, and collaborate on files safely using Google Drive.

  • Zoom

    Learn how to join and host meetings, use chat and video features, and manage virtual meetings confidently.

  • Device Advice

    Get guidance on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other devices, including basic setup, settings, and troubleshooting tips.

  • Cybersecurity

    Learn how to stay safe online, recognize scams, protect personal information, create strong passwords, and practice safe browsing habits.
