This program seeks to set the record straight on many gardening myths.
Saturday, July 28 , at 10 a.m. in the Room 110 (Lower Level)
Like Thomas Jefferson, who said “Though an old man, I am but a young gardener”, we all fondly imagine energy for our hobby will be age-defying. But situations change: declines in health and wealth and increases in spare time can all alter our ambitions. Whatever the limitations of our plot, though, the life-giving benefits of keeping connected with the seasons, wildlife and weather always outweighs any worries induced by change. Join us as Master Gardner Mike Rushing discusses the many ways ways to make sure you can still potter about in a garden.
