We meet on the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Urban Cookhouse in Homewood. Food not provided by the library, but participants are encouraged to order beverages/food.
Join us as we explore The Mango Tree by Annabelle Tometich. She writes with awe and humor about her irascible mother, who provided her children with a middle-class upbringing, while never underplaying the emotional toll extracted along the way. It’s a moving account of coming to terms with the forces—good and bad—that shape a person.
Founded in 1941, the award-winning Homewood Public Library offers books, movies, music and lots of great programming for all ages. We also have fantastic online resources, including databases, ebooks, and streaming media.
