Join us as we welcome dermatologist Dr. Gary Monheit as he discusses skin cancer and the various diagnosis and treatment options as we enter 2025. Skin cancer is usually treatable if caught early, and treatment depends on the size, location, and stage of the cancer, as well as the patient's overall health.
Dr. Monheit is a board-certified dermatologist and a founder of Total Skin and Beauty Dermatology Center which was established in Birmingham over 40 years ago. Total Skin and Beauty is a full-service comprehensive clinic for dermatologic medical, surgical and cosmetic care which also has a phototherapy clinic, an aesthetic center for cosmetic and laser procedures, a full research department which conducts clinical trials for a wide variety of medications, treatments and devices, as well as a superficial radiation area for non-invasive treatment of skin cancers.
