Broaden your horizons as Niki Sepsas presents another of his colorful programs featuring gorgeous travel destinations or fascinating historical adventures.
In honor of the 65th anniversary of what would be called the Bay of Pigs Invasion of 1961, Niki Sepsas presents a program on the efforts of 1400 Cuban exiles backed by the US Central Intelligence Agency to overthrow the government of Fidel Castro. Operation Pluto and the Alabama Connection highlights the critical role played in that action by a handful of men from an Air National Guard unit headquartered in Birmingham.
