Operation HOPE’s home buyer education workshop is recommended for those first-time shoppers who are warming up to the possibility.
The session gives participants a real look at how to qualify for a loan, down payment assistance, answers questions about hiring a Realtor, and how to insure your investment. In one-on-one counseling sessions with their financial well-being coach, participants will receive a copy of their TransUnion credit report and FICO score, learn how to improve their financial profile by improving their credit, creating a budget and savings plan, reviewing their debt-to-income ratio and purchase power, and much more.
