This history series with Niki Sepsas tells the remarkable story of American Independence celebrating our 250th anniversary. Provided through a grant from the Alabama Humanities Alliance.

The key roles played by the St Lawrence and the Mississippi Rivers in setting the stage for the clashes between French and British forces in North America that eventually led to the American colonists declaring their independence from Great Britain.
