Join us as we learn to enhance our communication skills for work & life. Active listening, awareness of non-verbal cues, & the use of clear language are among the topics being covered.

Communication Anxiety affects individuals in different ways. Whether it's anticipation of an interview, a friend's dinner party, or the upcoming department meeting at the office, communication anxiety affects most of us at some level. In this session, Dr. Ashley George, Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Samford University, will offer a teaching session (as part of a 4-week series) on how to identify CA, the different types we experience in different seasons, and how we can develop strategies to mitigate its effect on our interactions.
