Mental health stigma is a pervasive issue in the US that negatively impacts an individual's ability to find and access mental health supports. Join UAB psychology graduate students as we discuss the prevalence of mental health illness in the US, sources of mental health stigma, the negative effects of mental health stigma, and present tools for coping with and countering the stigma.
